This policy explains what personal information TopView Windows & Doors collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to this website and to quotes, installations and service work we carry out.
Who we are
TopView Windows & Doors supplies and installs windows and doors across Barrie, Simcoe County and the Greater Toronto Area. For any question about this policy, write to info@topviewwindows.com or call (647) 448-8439.
What we collect
When you request a quote we ask for your name, phone number, email address and a short description of the work. During a site visit we may record measurements, photographs of the openings and notes about the property. If you pay by card, the payment is handled by our provider — we never see or store full card numbers.
The website itself records standard technical data: pages viewed, approximate region, browser and device type. See our Cookie Policy for how that works.
Why we use it
We use your details to prepare and discuss your quote, order the correct products, schedule and carry out the installation, honour the warranty, and meet our obligations under the Ontario Building Code and tax law. With your consent we may also send occasional information about offers. You can stop those at any time.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with: manufacturers who build your units to size, the installation crew assigned to your job, our accountant, and service providers who host this website or send our email. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not become projects are deleted within two years. Project records are kept for the life of the warranty plus seven years, because warranty claims and tax rules both require it.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask what we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw consent for marketing, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. Write to info@topviewwindows.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it. The site is served over HTTPS, and our systems are password protected. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the website.
